Watch out for your diet
Summer is the perfect time of the year for icecreams and cold refreshments. They help us cope with the heat and humidity. However these type of food and drinks have a high sugar concentrate and may cause dental cavities or caries. Try to keep a healthy diet throughout the summer and lead a diet full of fruits and veggies.

Summer at the dentist? Yes! Take advantage of the fact that you have more time for yourself and visit your dentist for your anual check up. Visiting the dentist is of key importance to diagnose disease in an early stage and avoid expensive treatments. It can help you avoid any type of emergencies during the summer!
Hydrate properly
Dehydration is one of the most frequent consequences of the intense heat during the summer. Dehydration can lead to a decrease of saliva production which can increase the risk of cavities and gingival disease. Remember to drink at least 2 liters of water daily to maintain your body hydrated.
